Elisabetta was doing research for laboratories and industries in the biological and medical fields for many years, and then moved on to Notarbartolo & Gervasi in 2010, where she takes care of drafting and prosecuting patent applications for biotechnological and pharmaceutical inventions, as well as obtaining patents for new plant varieties.
Elisabetta's professional skills include, among others, drafting of patentability and freedom to operate opinions, opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, management of clients’ patent portfolios in the biotechnology field and teaching seminars and master courses, both in academic and professional contexts.
